6 big green apple
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon plain flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup of water
1 cup of oats
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 stick or half cup of butter
1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
First arrange the apple slices into a 8 by 8 dish.
Pour the white sugar, cinnamon and 1 tablespoon flour mix on the apples evenly. Then pour 1/4 cup of water evenly on top.
Mix oats, remaining plain flour, brown sugar, and baking powder. Melt the butter and mix nicely with dry ingredients. Spread the dry mixture on top of the apples thoroughly. Make sure you cover all the apples.
Heat the oven at 350°F and bake for 45 minutes. You should see small bubbles of sugar syrup form on the top which indicates that the apple crisp is ready. Serve hot!
